Greek beauty in the streets of Copenhagen

This photoshoot is not only amazingly beautiful, but it's also about the moments getting to know these incredible women.rnI'm gonna tell you how this photostory began.rnI wanted to make a photoshoot in Copenhagen. With people, cause that's my biggest passion inside the huge photography world - registering moments with people.rnrnI also wanted to explore the city center and make my own collection of the best spots for future photoshoots in Copenhagen.rnHow to find people willing to be a model for a few hours?rnI am not popular on Instagram, but the first idea that crossed my mind was posting a story asking for people to collaborate with my portfolio and getting some nice pictures in the city. I don't know people in Copenhagen, probably I don't have followers from there either, but why not trying?rnrn[caption id="attachment_1174" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] The actual post was in English, but I love this one more[/caption]rnBoom.rnAn Instagram friend (we never met before by the way, but thank you, Paulo) knew that the girlfriend of his friend is living in Copenhagen. We exchanged contacts, I dropped her a message, she joined the idea (♥) and we set a meeting in the metro station.rnIt was cold as usual. Raining. Snowing.rnOur meeting point was in Nørreport - one of the main city stations - where you actually face a huge diversity of people and it's interesting to just stop there and observe for a few minutes.rnrnIt's this part of the city where you feel a super vibrant atmosphere, people getting here and there, departing, sometimes you listen to live music, see homeless people, salespeople, alternative guys, and much more - just as in most of the dynamic cities around the world.rnrnAs you imagine, not really easy to find a person you have never seen before, but we made it.rnThe power of first impressionsrnIt's inevitable for us, humans, not to judge people by the first impression. Unfortunately, you have just one first impression. These few seconds where you have to present who you are - are what matters when you don't really have so much time to show who you actually are.rnrnAfter living for more than 2 years in Hungary, I got used to not expect warmness, cheerfulness, happiness - or any kind of these feelings when I meet someone from here. Of course there are exceptions, I met unique Hungarians that actually showed me the opposite of my expectations, but all in all, people don't open themselves that easily, especially if you are a foreigner living in their country.rnrnAs I said, I got used to it and my life keeps going - cultural acceptance is a key behavior if you want to survive outside your country.rnrnBut going back to the meeting point.rnThe greek spirit is so close to the Latin vibesrnWhen I met Iro, she was immediately smiling. We easily got along and my first impression was obviously the best. We walked towards the historical streets of Copenhagen and I gave her some instructions about how to not feel weird when a stranger is taking pictures of you.rnrnThroughout my life, I made a lot of pictures of people, but I was also shot by other photographers. I realized it's always important to break the ice with the person who will be the model of the photo session. I experienced myself in different weird situations when I didn't know how to move or pose because I'm not a professional model and nor the people I usually take pictures are.rnIt's not natural to be the target of a silent camera hold by a silent person.rnrnrnSometime later, two other greek friends joined us, and again, I was surprised by how they were so nice! This type of people you meet and you want to keep in touch with them forever!rnrnPictures here and there. My favorite pictures were taken on that cold rooftop.rnrnrnrnBefore we met, Iro told me she was not photogenic. Now, look at this beauty. I was convinced from the first second we met, the pictures would be incredible.rn

Και Ομως Γυριζει (I don't really know how to pronounce this name ♥) has this smile you feel immediately good when you see. And she was so excited about the pictures, the ideas, I cannot forget about it!

Αντωνία Κολόζη (another unpronounceable name ♥) has this mysterious look. You can deeply look at her eyes and you will not find what's crossing her mind. Gorgeous. Especially charming smoking her cigarettes.
